AC not cold, super small room,Very tiny bathroom, great location though right in the heart of the French quarter.

First and foremost, this hotel is in a perfect location. You are in the center of wonderful restaurants, tour groups, jazz clubs and a short walk from the streetcars. I couldn't have asked for a better location. We didn't rent a car so I cannot comment on the valet and we didn't eat in the Rib Room so no comment for that either.
We did enjoy the rooftop seating area and the pool looked fantastic, but it was a bit cool. The workout room is quite small, but has a number of machines and a few free weights. We were able to check in online from the airport, which made arriving at the hotel very easy - no waiting in line! Our room was a petite on the 6th floor facing the courtyard. It was a very nice view and reasonably quiet most of the time with one exception. On Saturday night about 10:30 pm a rooftop party started at a nearby building and the sound in our room was deafening to say the least. I called the front desk twice and they said they were looking into it. After one hour a gentleman from security came to our room with ear plugs and said they might be done at 1:00 am. Needless to say, we were not happy. Thankfully, others complained and the noise finally stopped at 11:55pm. The beds were ok, slightly saggy in the middle and we had to request down pillows - the ones we had were hard as a rock (the replacements were great). We're not early risers, but a hot shower was almost non existent for most of our stay. All in all, the stay was nice except for a few bumps.

Hotel is located exactly where you will want to be during you stay. Service level was lacking and check in process took way to long. There was only one bellman on a Friday evening. Rooms are nice. We had a balcony on Royale. Not a bad stay but just did not leave feeling wowed.

Very clean and classy hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I've been there twice and look forward to going back. Close enough to Bourban but far enough to where the noise didn't follow me home. Breakfast in the Rib Room started each day off properly. Highly recommend the Omni Royal.
