We found this hotel on AAAOhio.com, and checked out the reviews here in TripAdvisor; based on those, we rented a room for Thanksgiving night.

Every good thing said about this hotel is true. The staff were all wonderful, the rooms were spotless, bed very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for our large dog's kennel. Although it's not right on the interstate, it was quite easy to find and the location turned out to be excellent.

When we checked in the desk clerk mentioned that there were a few parties staying with dogs that were making a LOT of noise, but we never heard a sound from any other guests. She'd obviously done a great job of "separating" all the dog families. :-)

One thing worth noting: We had to sign an agreement that we wouldn't leave our dog alone in the room, even in his kennel, which meant we had to get take-out somewhere to eat in the room. We would've liked to have known that ahead of time, but it wound up being a lot better than we'd feared. Cracker Barrel (about 15 minutes away) was serving Thanksgiving dinner and fixed us up with some to-go meals that were just perfect. We ate in the room and were happy to have a small fridge in which to keep the leftovers, which we ate for breakfast. Because of that we never made it down for the complimentary breakfast and can't comment on that.

Bottom line is we will stay here any time we are in Madison, and highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Madison.

We found this place on TripAdvisor and stayed here for 2 nights recently. The hotel and room were fine. Our room had the toilet and tub/shower in a separate room with the lav in the main part of the room. This lay-out is rather common but nice to know in advance. The bed and pillows were very nice and the flatscreen TV was great. The room came with a small fridge and a microwave although we did not use them. The hotel was quite a way from where our daughter lives [we were visiting her and her husband] but the trade-off was the price was only $78.00/night [through Priceline.com] so we felt it was worth the short drive. The service at the front desk was OK but nothing too inviting. The only negative was that the first night it was quite noisy- you could hear the people above us walking around [squeaky floors] and using the bathroom. It didn't bother my wife and I fell asleep after awhile. The 2nd night was very quiet and we slept well. The price included breakfast but we did not take advantage as our daughter had plans for breakfast.

Checked in early and king, business room available - great start! Reception staff very helpful in providing local information - much appreciated. Room very large, clean and spacious. Location not that close to downtown and not the easiest to drive into from main roads but no major problem. Pool and jacuzzi area very well maintained with towels provided. Had a slight problem with with the ironing board which completely fell apart and landed on my foot (ouch!), took the pieces down to reception and was immediately given a "working model" and a 5% refund on my room rate - couldn't have asked for more! Excellent service and thank you Days Inn Madison. Recommended when in the Madison area.

Great location. Rooms were large, clean. Staff is really appreciated. I have no regrets at all. I would definitely go back.
