Dirty stinking, could not control room temp, dirty matted carpet.....
Our stay at this place was the most horrible experience in either of our stays in hotels. For beginners, the room smelled very musky. We spent the first hour we were there airing the room. Then when we tried to shut off the heater in the room it would not shut off. So we then spent every other hour having to get up just to open the doors to get fresh air. Then the topper of the stay was our neighbors. The coming and going started at approximately midnight and then the screaming and physical fighting started at 4 am that morning. Between these hours we were stuck in a very hot room unable to open the doors because of the craziness happening outside. We did call the police which they did go inside and hide until the police left and then the fighting started again. The very first chance my husband and I had to escape we left which was at 4:45 a.m. When I made my way to the front desk to return the key and stated my complaint to the desk clerk. Which by the way stood there doing absolutely nothing while all this was happening, frankly stated, "I'm sorry". Me too......but that didn't help that my husband and I had to start traveling with absolutely no sleep and having to pay for such an unpleasant stay. I hope they improve this inn. The reviews posted on Expedia did not come close to describing the inn we occupied that Thanksgiving night.
We read a review and booked a room in this motel. The rooms were stinking and beds are dirty. The bathrooms were old and ok , ok...
At first arrial, the staff and room seemed fine. We needed a room for a week and was charged $235/wk w/tax. We requested two double beds since there was 1 kid, a baby and 2 adults - but another adult would need to crash there a couple of nights during the week. We were told that the 3rd adult couldn't stay but he could pay $70 per night for the week. This didn't work out with him, and requested a refund. The Indian owner/manager lives on site in a room - and has his fathher sta there too we found out later. Anyway - "continental breakfast" consisted of watered down OJ that I SWAER smelled like URINE!, bitter coffee and plastic packed, cheap little debbie sweet rolls!!!! Also - we had several $5 and $1 bills that we were going to use on horse betting that ended up "mysteriously disappearing" from on top the armoire that the housekeepers neglected to wipe down the day before. The top half of our portable beechwood (very expensive) highchair also disappeared after one the last dahys we stahyed. We asked the older front desk lady, AND the owner/manager about this and thehy said they couldn't do anhything because the maids were mexican and didn't speak English!!! The other negative notes on other comments have been experienced by us as well - the bad water pressure/temp, the rude customer service, dead bugs in the window sills.
We had reserve a room with double bed. When arrived our room had been changed to a king size bed. We had 3 people in our
group. We were told we that we could be put in room with double bed but would have to pay an extra $5 for the extra person. That was ok. But the air conditoner did not work. The owner/manager supposely had fixed it. The room obviously had been without working air conditioner for quite sometime the ceiling was falling in , the carpet was wet and the thermostat was
barely attached to the wall. When we complian the next day. The manager told us to go if we wanted to. That he would give our
money for the next night.,not for the night is the july heat wave. We did not because could not find
another room due to convention was beign held.
