My husband and I were celebrating our 30th anniversay we came to stay for 2 nights at the hotel. (friday and saturday1/20-21/2012). Saturday morning before we left for a day at Oaklawn Horse Track, I made our beds and zipped all our suit case and bags and left them in our room. On top of a desk we left a grocery sack of snacks.(full bag of cheetos, full bag of fritos and a couple of candy bars) When we returned later that evening we noticed that the suit case had been moved and unzipped, the snacks were gone. We immediatly went to the front desk who took some notes and said he would leave word for the manager. Kristi Gansky General Manager to this hotel.just called today 1/23/2012. and said she believes her staff instead of their guests. So you can expect that someone will go into your room and go through your belongings.. DON"T LEAVE ANYTHING OF VALUE AT STAYBRIDGE SUITES HOT SPRINGS, AR.

I am so sorry that you had a bad experience with our hotel. I am aware that Kristin Gansky General Manager did call you on 1/23/12 to resolve this issue and even offered to purchase the goods that you believed where not in their appropriate places. Our housekeeping staff have all been here for almost three years and we have never had a complaint about them taking items or going through any guest belongings. The certain housekeeper that cleaned your room over the weekend has been known to turn in money that has been left behind from a check out and even a set of diamond earrings. To run a company that involves going in and out of guest rooms you have to have people that you trust and believe in. I am very sorry that you believe that something was taken from your room. I know that as the general manager if anything happens Kristin takes firm measures to make sure we wont ever have this complaint again. She has held a meeting with our housekeepers and they are now being inspected everyday when they leave. Even though this has never happened before since you two have spoken she has been checking purses of the housekeepers when they arrive and when they are leaving to make sure that our housekeepers are not leaving with any items they did not come with. We hope that you give our hotel another chance because like I said if we ever have a complaint about something we go through extreme measures to make sure that we will not be getting the same complaint twice.
Best Wishes,
Jessika Carpenter Director of Sales
