“Best drag queens in Bali”

Stumbled across this very memorable place in one of the side streets in Legian. Run by Aussies it is a Fantastic place to sit and have a drink and a taste of home. The menu is very simple but lovely Aussie food with some Balinese dishes thrown in for good measure. There are 3 specialty drinks on the menu for a 'taste from home'. Redskin vodka, musk stick vodka and bananas and cream vodka. All a must try!
From Wednesday to Saturday from 9:30 the Bali beach shack also hosts a drag queen show. My friends and I were blown away by these men dressed as women, and even our males counterparts couldn't believe their eyes. Defiantly a must do if your in the area, and completely child friendly, as there is no graphic nudity. All use a bit of fun!

Thank you so much for your review of BBS! I cant tell you how I enjoy reading about our guests having a fantastic time!

The "Aussie" cocktails have been a huge success and we always looking for new ideas to present to our guests!

The Drag shows just keep getting better and better! Our entertainers are always updating their numbers and practice on a regular basis to keep the show fresh! Last week we had many children in our audience and we all had such a great laugh watching them being involved in the show!

Thank you once again, and please come and say hi the next time you are in Bali!

“Great Drag Show and nice place for a cocktail”

If you’re looking for a fun night out and don't take life to serious then Bali Beach Shack is a really fun night. The place is run by an Australian brother and sister team. Their main attraction is the Drag Show entertainment they have on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 9:30 and 10:30pm. No cover charge to enjoy the show but they ask you to purchase at least one drink which I think is more than fair enough. If you can I suggest try their redskin or musk stick cocktails which are fantastic and we now make at home. Also on other nights they have other entertainment with some of it being local Balinese dancers etc which is nice to see.

I always appreciate the time our customer's take to write a review about their experince at BBS! Like all owner's of a small business, our success depends on a positive experience, our lovely staff and what we offer at BBS!

Thank you for mentioning the variety of entertainment we offer! Where many customer's see us as a drag venue, we try to offer something for everyone! Our "Baby Balinese" dancing girls from the local dance school in Legian. These little girls come to BBS every Tuesday night to gain performance experience! This is imperative for the continuation of this beautiful tradition!

Our "Aussie" cocktails came from a friend of mine in Brisbane, what a great idea! Pealing the redskins can be a pain sometimes lol but this cocktail has been the biggest success of all!

Thank you again for your review and I do hope you come and say hi to us again!

Thank you for your review and so glad you had a fun time at BBS! We think our staff are fantastic at BBS and such great personalities! They can be so funny and I really enjoy seeing them at the end of the night dancing on stage with our customer's! We don't tell them to do this, they just do it when they are having a fun night!

Our menu is not a book with too many choices, we moved away from this for that reason! BBS updated our menu recently with our best sellers! As a customer myself, I found to many choices was confusing and always ended up eating the same dish everywhere lol!

With bein served raw meat on a hamburger and little interest from the owner , the over priced beer ...we wont be back !

BBS takes pride and interest in offering quality dinning. If we were aware or communicated to us by our staff, we would have offered you a replacement meal or refund. Our aim is to secure return business and I apologise if we did not meet your expectations.

Regarding our beer pricing we are in line with the other restaurants in our street and in some cases we are cheaper.

Happy hour our small Bintang is Rp. 15,000 Dinner. Rp. 20,000 Drag Show: Rp. 30,000
The reason for the increase of price during the Drag Show, is to cover the entertainment costs, as we do not have a cover charge!
