Great Italian food cooked under ther supervision of 'mama'.
Good location, although a little out of the way. Good service without it being in 'your face'.
Started off with bruschetta, a little bland but added some salt and pepper and drizzled a little olive oil....made a lot of difference.
For mains: tagliatelle putanesca. Sauce quite good but the olives in the sauce were disappointing. They used the Spanish sliced hard black ones with no flavor. That I think they came out of a tin. Tagliatelle was cooked to al dente.
My partner had spaghetti marinara. All good
And for desert I had a home made tiramisu......excellent.
Overall all a great dinner that wasn't too expensive and all washed down with a couple of glasses of Italian red.
Walked out satisfied. And we will be back for a Saturday night all you can eat buffet.
Even mama came out to ask us about the food.
