To add to the already amazing fact that you are in Tanzania and seeing incredible animals, is a stay at this camp/resort. The main building is built around a Baobob tree that is home to a colony of bats that keeps the camp bug free and you will greatly appreciate that! At night it is fascinating to watch them dart around. The staff is extremely attentive and go above and beyond to meet any request. From the moment you arrive and are given scented, moist towels to wipe off the road dust and fresh juice to quench your thirst, you will love hanging out in the lounge area. The views are incredible and as you gaze out over the deck with the infinity pool, you'll be able to see wild animals drinking at a watering hole or just roaming by. Then, you'll be escorted to your tent in a tree and your jaw will drop at what is considered a tent. Spacious and more like a 5 star hotel room and nothing like a tent with the exception that the walls are canvas and zip open. Sitting areas, desks, decks with rocking chairs, robes, toiletries, comfortable beds, outlets, and other wonderful touches. The food is gourmet and delicous and made by talented chefs. The waitstaff attentive and friendly. When told it was my daughter's 8th birthday, they went above and beyond to help her celebrate and it became the most special birthday ever. I would make this camp a definite on my tour every time I would be lucky enough to visit the country.
