“Excellent hotel between Casablanca and Rabat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 November 2011

I stayed in this hotel for a conference but it would also be a nice place to stay if on holiday. Its situated about an hour from Casablanca and twenty minutes from Rabat. The hotel is very well built and looks fairly new and is next to the Royal summer palace right on the beach. The rooms are really nice and big, with luxurious full bathrooms and king size beds. The general areas of the hotel are well appointed and the food was great. Service is a little slow some times but staff are very friendly and helpful. Wifi was unfortunately only available in the public areas although there is cabled access in the rooms. I would definitely stay here again for business or for a holiday.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a sea view and close to reception

“Very poor first impression”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 November 2011

On arrival the first thing you notice in reception is the smell of the sewers. We then had to wait 5 minutes while the receptionist finished a personal call!

My room was a distance away up two flights of stairs while my colleagues room couldn't be found by the member of staff who escorted him. Getting in to my room I found it was a good size but smelled musty with the bedding feeling damp.

Not ventured to a restaurant yet....I will post again for that.

So far its Definitely not a five star hotel either in service nor facilities.

“Excellent hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 October 2011

Further to a previous review, VJV are still using this hotel, Stayed here as part of a small (11 people) group tour of Morocco. It is situated about 20Km south of Rabat in a small residential development right on the sea. The beach is not particularly special, but the hotel certainly is. Very swish public areas and lots of open space and a very nice pool on the edge of the beach. Four restaurants – not cheap, but very good! The rooms are large and very well equipped and have a balcony. The bathrooms are large with bath, separate shower cubicle and big enough to have a party! Fridge/mini bar, safe and wi-fi all in-room.
There's not much around the hotel, but it is very luxurious

Room Tip: I should think they are all pretty good - far enough away from anything to be noisy. Might be best t...

“Oasis after a long trip!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2011

We arrived in Casablanca and made our way here. The facility was wonderful and the beach incredible, drinks at the seaside bar were welcome and great. This is where we first learned Morrocco is a very cat friendly country...The staff all tried except for the front desk person who tried to oevr charge us for a bottle of water...but all in all the resort was a great start to a wonderful trip!

“Great location and facilities”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 July 2011

We stayed here 3 days for a conference at the centre across the road. Really pleasant rooms, spacious and with a good view of the Atlantic. The poolside bar was also pretty good even if the drinks were pricey (we had the same experience later in Casablanca at the Sheraton). Service was good, breakfast the usual international stuff but OK. we tried 2 of the restaurants - the one facing the sea, which was OK, and the Moroccan one, which was very good - I'd recommend the lamb and fig tagine.
