Gatlinburg Inn is located right in the heart of Gatlinburg. It is an older facility, rather quaint as the rooms are furnished in 60's style furniture, the carpet and wallpaper are from that era as well. If you like to sit and relax, there is a balcony or patio for each room and plenty of rocking chairs in the lobby and on the front porch. The beds were quite acceptable but the pilllows needed replacing. If you are looking for the latest in modern amenities, you won't find it here. No hairdryers, fridges, or microwaves in the rooms. The walls are a bit thin. We could occasionally hear voices from adjoining rooms. Cleanliness was exceptional and the history of the inn displayed in the many pictures on the walls made this a stop we thoroughly enjoyed.
