“Fun Relaxing Activity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2008

Perhaps one of my favorite details about this attraction was the availability of parking in a town where parking is scarce and overpriced. DH and I golfed on a Tuesday afternoon in mid-September when the weather was perfect and there was no crowd. We chose the Village course which was themed with all sorts of country mountain critters most of which "spoke." I can see how the recordings might get on your nerves if you had a large group and were subjected to listening to the animals repeat themselves while waiting for everyone to take their turn, but for a party of 2 the audio just added to the ambiance. My favorite holes were those which rewarded you with a sound byte for putting through a hard to reach hole or crevice. At the end of both courses you are given a free round of golf for a hole-in-one. I won one! Since DH didn't (and I wasn't going to play another round by myself) we opted to hold on to the ticket for another trip or to give away. They are good for an entire year!
This was an enjoyable, fun, stress-free activity for us and we shared several laughs throughout the game.

“Really cute”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 August 2008

Really cute mini golf. One of few things left that you can do for under $10. It was $9.99 per person but it took about 45 minutes to play, so it was a pretty good value. They have 2 courses to choose from. I played the village one. It was like an old hillbilly village with an outhouse and possums on a clothesline, stuff like that. I would reccomend it, but don't try to walk from downtown because it's several blocks from the strip but they have free parking and a trolley stop.

“Excellent Mini-golf, but it can get on your nerves.”

Both courses are absolutely great with really fun and clever holes. The left side course has much cooler holes but is not very shaded so if it's a hot day, you may want to take the right side course which is completely shaded. Throughout both courses they have sound effects ranging from a hillbilly mouse asking for cheese to really loud cannon fire, which can get on your nerves. The last hole on both courses, is fairly easy to get a hole-in-one, giving you a free game, which is awesome.

“Great Mini-Golf”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 June 2008

We just got back from Gatlinburg and all my twin preschoolers wanted to do was play minigolf. We played a different course back in November and it was ok.

This course was really nice. It was very hot and sunny and one of the two courses they have was pretty well shaded. The kids loved it and they told us that the kids could come back and re-play for free (or go to Old Macdonald in Sevierville, which is what we did.)

It was a bit crowded on a Friday morning, but the course was clever and fun. There was one of the characters that was a bit annoying since it kept saying the same thing over and over, but no big deal.

Kids cost 5.99 and adults 9.99. $1 off with the coupon from any of a hundred coupon books. Free re-plays for the kids.

“Cute theme, nice & clean mini-golf”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 September 2007

This mini-golf is pretty nice. It is located on the parkway in downtown Gatlinburg. They have 2 different courses to choose from. Both courses are nicely designed and well lit for night time golfing. The animated characters are cute and entertaining. Kids will like it. The courses were well maintained. There werent any torn putting greens or faded carpets. All animated characters worked and were nicely painted (not faded or broken). It is nice to see a mini-golf that looks brand new. I hate it when they start to look run down and neglected. This mini-golf isnt showing any signs of neglect. You even have the chance of winning a free game if you can maneuver the skill shot on the last hole.

This mini golf is nice, but it is a little expensive. It costs like $10 for one game or you can play both courses for like $14. The guy who worked there told us that it takes 30 minutes to play each course. The phone recording said they were open until midnight, but after we paid for our games, we were told that it was now off-season (Sept 13) and that they were closing in 45minutes at 11pm. So, I was a little upset that he had just talked us into buying ticktes for both courses and then we had to rush through the courses. He did tell us we could save the ticket and use it at a later date (within 1 yr) if we didnt get to play that night, but we were leaving town within a day. So, we had to play both that night--since it was supposed to rain the next day.

All in all, I would say this is a nice mini-golf. It is a great deal to be able to buy 2 courses for a cheaper rate..especially since you can save the ticket for a later date. Just make sure you ask what time they close, since the recording might not be right. I would recommend paying for 2 courses....playing one course at the beginning of your vacation---and then playing the second course later on in your vacation. This way you get 2 days of mini-golf at a cheaper rate.

NOTE: Check one of the many coupon books that you can pick up around town for free---this attraction usually offers a $1 off coupon.
