We absolutely loved our stay here. Our suite had a nice fireplace. Beautiful views of Mt Leconte. Our room had a direct view of the mountain; you can look from any window and we had outstanding views. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had a nice massage tub which was perfect to relax in. The room was very spacious and very nicely decorated. Definitely had a cabin feel to it. It's not far from the city at all, only about a 5 min drive down the mountain. The front desk was very friendly. We had the continental breakfast which was good and we had dinner at their restaurant. We both had the grouper which was delicious. We loved the trail which we took down to the creek. We took some beautiful pictures. They had the pavilion area set up very pretty and relaxing. We will definitely be back to this beautiful lodge.

My husband and I did a quick 2 night stay here this past week. I am not usually a big fan of any hotels but the room was very clean and roomy. The fireplace was great to use in the evenings. The restaurant has fantastic ambiance but is very expensive. The best part about the lodge, though, is the outdoor pavilion area about a half mile hike down the hill. Gorgeous! Peaceful! It was one of the best trips we've taken in 13 years of marriage.

We stayed one night in a lodge suite on our way to Maryland. It was clean, spacious, had a kitchen, gas fireplace, and a great place. Three areas to improve: 1. even though it is not far from downtown Gatlinburg, the entrance is hard to find. Needs to be better marked. We drove by it twice. 2. The TV is located too high. It is really uncomfortable. 3. They offer breakfast at 8:00 as part of the cost but we had to leave before then. I think a breakfast should be offered at 6 or 7. I would stay there again. A little pricey but beautiful.

This is a nice property away from the crowds of downtown Gatlinburg. My wife and I were pleased with the comfort of the room and the attentiveness of the staff. Our first room smelled like sewage (we were told a sewer line had frozen), but we were moved to another room very quickly. We really enjoyed the fireplace in the room...it was a nice touch. My only complaint would be noise from the adjacent rooms. I guess the walls are kinda thin.
