“OK atmosphere, OK food, Excellent service...”

We started our experience in the gift shop checking out the over-priced merchandise and waited approx. 40 min. on a Wed. night. Once seated, we had an excellent waitress (Ask for Courtney; She was awesome!!) The food was OK: burnt kid's burgers, tough sirloin steak. I would recommend Salmon, black and Bleu burger, or mac-cheese or drum sticks kids meal. Coupons around town will get you a Hard Rock guitar lapel pin.

“It was ok..”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 March 2009

I'd never been to a Hard Rock Cafe before, and I'd always wanted to go. I'd been told it was really over priced, but I insisted. I wish I had listened, or at least looked at the menu outside the door. I got the pulled pork sandwich and it was average, nothing special. My fiance had a burger. The service was excellent though and he was really funny and friendly. It was about $35 plus tip. I've been to a HRC now, and I've got it outta my system, and I'll never go to another one.

“Great food!”

We went here because we liked the Hard Rock Cafe but had never been to the one in Gatlinburg. It was a shopping trip in December 2008. The restaurant atmosphere is as expected for Hard Rock, and the food and service was excellent. If you're a AAA member, make sure to tell the server. You'll get 10% off your bill and a cute little pin with a AAA truck towing the Hard Rock.

“Not the place to go”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 February 2009

I have been to many Hard Rock Cafe's and always had good food, but this one was different. My husband ordered a hamburger med-well, it was burnt, not well done, burnt. I know, I like mine well done. My son ordered a BLT and the bacon was so over done he could hardly bite it, and the toast was burnt too. Then only thing that was ok was my salad. I guess you can't burn lettuce. I love salads, and I can only say this one was ok, not great, not even good, just ok. There are many other places to go in Gatlinburg like Calhouns, and Bennetts or the Alamo in Pigeon Forge. Skip this Hard Rock. Not worth it, and its expensive for what you get.
