Not top of the line but comfy enough for a couple of nights. I like it because it is family owned, not part of a big chain. Will stay again. Convenient to River Rd. and 441.

I've stayed here several times. I'm not too much of a fancy pants but I do want a clean, fresh smelling room and I always get that while stating here. The hotel is older but super clean. You can't beat the location for the price. This hotel is behind the main street of Gatlinburg, so you basically walk around to the back of the hotel, through a parking lot, and you come out on the main drag. The price was 70 bucks, including tax, during a weekend stay. Ac worked great, lots of TV channels, and plenty of hot water. A nice place for the price and location!

We have been staying at the Mountain Heritage Inn for many years from just the two of us to an entire youth group. That being said, my wife and I obviously really like this facility. It is an older motel, however, it is always very clean and inviting. The ladies at the office are hospitable and really convey a true desire to satisfy their quests every visit. It is a moderately large facility with three floors of rooms and suites. Rooms can be the expected two double beds to multiroom suites with fireplaces and kitchens. And then there are the circular cabins once known as rondettes providing two bedrooms, two baths, living room with fireplace and fully equipped kitchen. Barbecue grills are available and there is a sparkling swimming pool and hot tub. The Mountain Heritage Inn is on River Road running parallel to the Parkway convenient to all attractions and restaurants in Gatlinburg. Most sites are in reasonable walking distance to the Inn being that it is located in the center of town.

My girlfriends and I have stayed at the Inn for the past 3 years. It's clean, centrally located, quiet at night and reasonably priced. We have never been disappointed and the managers and staff have always been nice, helpful and polite. Don't always believe what you read......you need to experience it for yourself......I would never stay anywhere else while in Gatlinburg. I plan on going back in July. I only hope they have a room available :) ....
