We rented 3 units for a week (July 4th). The overall quality was OK but not great. The pool was so-so, but the hot tub motor made a really horrible screeching sound when on.

All 3 units were different. Some had up-to-date furniture while others didn't. Our unit (407) had some ripped carpet, older furniture, and several burned out lightbulbs, and it just didn't feel really well-kept.


The positives- relatively inexpensive and within walking distance of the main shopping strip in Gatlinburg.

If we came again, we would pick somewhere a little nicer.

Unit 501 is very nice.....Has been updated with stackstone around the fireplace... flat screen TV's in the Living Room and Master Bedroom....Great view from the balcony and it's a corner unit.....Also very clean and quiet.....Short walk to the village with lots of shopping and the strip.....Across the street from Ripley's Aquarium.......Would stay in Unit 501 again in a minute.......

I was worried because i booked on line and because the rates where so good. We were so happy with our condo. We were close enough to down town that we walked every where but yet far enough away from the traffic and noise. Our room was perfect. No check it. All we had to do was show up and open the door. check out the video on line.

Stayed at Olde Gatlinburg Place for a week. Unit 701 has a wonderful view of the city and mountains. Very clean, with no problems. Have read other reviews about other units in this building being in need of refurbishing. You really need to be sure you ask for newly renovated units like 701. Great stay.
