Never in my life have I dealt with unclean conditions such as these. On our way in to the room my 3 year old was stung by wasp. We unloaded the car and went into town. When we got back to the room we were greeted by ants, roaches, and a scorpion.

They moved us to another room, only to be greeted by more of the same. When I complained the next morning I was snapped at by a very unpleasent front desk clerk. How she is able to keep her job is beyond me. They refused any kind of refund.

If you love your family keep them away from this roach motel.

My husband and myself have been to Gatlinburg several times but we have always stayed in a cabin but on this trip it was just us and we were going on a budget so we decided to stay in a hotel. The reviews on Tripadvisor had me very concerned about what we were getting into. When we arrived to check in, the office lady was very nice and it took all of 5 mins, We stayed in the mountain view building rm 4233. The balcony looked over the pool ( it was closed) and the parking lot but if you choose to look over all that the view was really pretty and if you like to sit out and people watch then its perfect plus for the price I was happy to just have a balcony.. The room was clean and tidy nothing gross, the carpet felt clean and soft, the bathroom was clean and it was a good sized room, it was a short walk from the main stip. ( I enjoy walking ) If your overly lazy u may complain. The pool that was open was decent if I would have had my kiddos w/ us we would have used the pool. The only thing that bothered us was the ice machines they are sparse and you have to find one that works. The beds were soft unlike most of the beds in the cabins ( I did bring my own pillows and comforter) they had WIFI hot spots but I sat out on the balcony and picked up off the hotels nextdoor. If you are looking for a nice clean room close to EVERYTHING and your a budget friendly person and not expecting a 300$ room for 60 bucks then its a awesome room to stay in!!!

Bugs everywhere! I killed 7 in the bathroom. This is just not a clean place. I have never seen anything like it. The worest hotels in NYC make this look good. I have pictures of 5 of the bugs. It's a great location but buyer beware I would pay the extra $20 a night and stay next door at the Edge Water or Greystone. Would rather sleep in my car than this hotel again. Out dated is ok with me but unclean come on.

we booked this place because we were going to the wild bear falls indoor water park. the water park was great! this hotel was ridiculous! when we walked in the door, the air conditioner was on that same wall. in front of you was a sink with a small fridge and a microwave and a wall. on the opposite side of this wall was was a king bed. there was a small walkway that opened up to the sleeping area. this being said, it was HOT, HOT, HOT in this room because of this set-up. it was 90 degrees outside and the room didn't cool off until 3 or 4 in the morning. all of the other furniture was crammed in there. there was a fireplace, but it was overtaken by this huge armoire that held a dated tv. we had to shift this monstrous thing to even be able to see the tv. all the decor was dated and poorly decorated. we called the front desk and they were going to move us to another room. but we had just unpacked and was trying to get our baby asleep. even the other room they offered had the same set-up!! we will not stay here again. we will stay at the edgewater, which is right next door and is completely updated and flat screen tv's!
