We stayed 6 nights and never had experienced a Holiday Inn Club Vacation Resort before.
The entire resort was well maintained and clean with a friendly staff. They offered activities
to various age groups during the entire week.

Pools and hot tubs were wonderful as the outdoor cooking grills.

The location was PERFECT, close to all the action without being on the main street (just
one block from all the action). We spent most of our time in the Smokey Mountains and had several dinners in nearby Pigeon Forge.

This is one of the greatest places we have stayed. This time we met the manager and he was very nice. We love the rooms at the back overlooking the creek and asked to change our room to that area. The manager had the desk clerk change our room to that side and even gave us a room upgrade. Very nice villa and nicely located. We will stay here whenever we are in the area. We love the full kitchen so that we can use some of our leftovers from Florida instead of having to find a place to eat. This is a fully vacation villa and not a full service hotel like Crown Plaza so, there is no place to eat in this villa. The cost is a little more than some of the other places but, worth it.

We booked here after seeing good reviews on Tripadviser, was concerned though with the reviews that this place was more condo like and less hotel and that they time share you...

We are SOOOOO glad we didn't let those few reviews about that deter us from staying here. We booked for a long 7 night stay... I really can't say enough, we were NOT pressured at all about the time share, they let you know about it upfront when you check in but if you are just honest and let them know you aren't interested they don't mention it again, honestly I forgot it was a time share by the end. I thought the stay was very hotel like only the best hotel i've ever been too. First of all the room was FANTASTIC, huge jaccuzi, very comfortable bed, everything was clean and new. Having the kitchen was fantastic since we have a 5mt old who came with me and my husband. The kitchen was fully stocked ... blender, toaster, pots pans, everything! (even a cheese grinder). Having a washer and dryer in the room was amazing. The fireplace was fantastic. I have no clue why anyone complains about anything with the room.... and you cannot beat the price. My inlaws stayed in Gatlinburg the same week and didn't book at the holiday inn and pd 50 more a night for a smaller, older room at another hotel.

Someone posted a review about the walk to the strip...making it sound like its a long hike... its about a 1/5th mile, slight, very slight incline, me and my husband didn't have a issue with it at all its a 1/5 mile... No biggie even with the stroller.

The staff really went above and beyond, our SUV's radiator cracked while we were in Gatlinburg and the hotel not only recommended a local mechanic but one of staff drove my husband up to the place to pick up our car when it was finished. Really above and beyond. We will recommend this place to everyone! Even the coffee in the lobby was great lol. Thank you for a fantastic stay! We will only be staying here when vacationing in Gatlinburg :D

Took a day trip to bicycle up Clingmans Dome. Our short stay was Fantastic. The desk personnel were top notch and the view from the room and the suite was beautiful. Already planning our next longer stay. Could walk you verything and a short drive to the park.
