This was my first trip to Gatlinburg and me and my family stayed here and we made an excellent choice. The rooms were clean and very spacious, easy accomidations and very friendly staff. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds a fireplace and a balcony view of a beautiful stream. It was decorated very nice as well. They have a very nice breakfast there as well, and they serve very good biscuit and gravy...tasted just like grandmas!! This hotel is near the main drag and in walking distance of just about everything. I actually left my personal blanket in the hotel and drove 10 hours back home, I called the hotel and housekeeping was so friendly and shipped my blanket right away! So thank you Old Creek Lodge for making my experience in Gatlinburg a great one, and I very much appreciate your service and hospitality!! Don't pass this hotel up, you won't find better in Gatlinnburg!

I called back in June to make a reservation because I had heard such great things about the remodel. The girl that I spoke with to make the reservation was so sweet and helpful with the process. When we arrived upon check in we couldnt believe how nice the hotel was. The wood work and decor in the place was so pretty {and gave me ideas for my house!} The rooms were so neat and clean!! The next morning when we got up we were leaving for the day and we noticed that the head housekepper was in the rooms with her staff actually helping them to make sure that the rooms were as neat and clean as possible. I have never seen that before and it made me feel good knowing that something extra went in for people to enjoy the place even more. Later that evening we had stopped in at the front desk to see if the front desk had any recommendations of where we should eat that night. The young lady at the desk {long blonde hair} was so helpful and friendly. She told us of a couple resturants that we could choose from and when we decided which one she was right it was a great place to eat! We had an amazing stay and we will be back!!!

I have stayed at many places in Gatlinburg and this is, by far, the best place I have stayed. I will always stay here in the future. The room was very clean and I loved the lodge furniture. The fireplace was really nice as it was only 20 degrees the night we were there. I would highly recommend Old Creek Lodge.

Our stay at Old Creek was wonderful! We arrived after 11pm on Thursday evening, and we could not have asked for a better greeting than the one we received by the gentleman at the front desk. I felt like he was welcoming us into his home. He talked to us about our trip, the hotel renovations, the upcoming parade- so friendly! He is a huge asset to this establishment!

Our room (2 double/jacuzzi) was beautiful, large, and immaculate. We woke up to find an excellent breakfast- waffle maker, pastries, biscuits/gravy and many other items to choose from. The location is also perfect- a quick walk to the parkway and easy access to the bypass.

My only complaint was the young girl at the counter (long hair, nose pierced). I had to go in the lobby to complain about not having any hot water. When I told her my problem, she put her head in her hands. I understand she was frustrated, but I was too. The problem was fixed within 5 minutes. She was so unfriendly every time I came into the lobby and when I went to check out- SHE is the only reason why I could only give Old Creek 4 stars.


We have recently stayed at the Bearskin and the Hilton, and Old Creek surpassed them both. This place is GREAT!
