“A great place to stay”

We stayed in a cabin at Rockwood Lodge with our eight year old granddaughter last August. It was a delightful week! Mike and Lin were congenial hosts, and we had a wonderful time on the Gunflint Trail and on Poplar Lake. Swimming off cabin #2 was excellent, our meals at Trail Center and Gunflint Lodge were first-rate. A cabin with a loft bedroom is ideal if you are traveling with a child/children, too!

We are hoping to make reservations for another cabin week at Rockwood this coming summer.

“Rockwood Outfitters is phenomenal!!!!”

Mike and Lin provide a wonderful Boundary Waters setting. Awesome personalized friendly service with outstanding accommodations. This place was the best out of 5 other outfitters I have used in the past. Friendly and clean with plenty of great services. No need to look elsewhere.

“Relax at Rockwood”

Rockwood Lodge is a comfortable place to sit quietly and reflect. I think of the shoreline of Poplar Lake in front of the outfitter building when I want to relax. The canoes are always in top condition, and the staff are as friendly as can be. They pointed me to Lake Daniels, where I caught a 19 inch Lake Trout. The cabin was clean and well appointed, with hot showers, a warm bed, a cozy fireplace and was only 10 ft from the lake (cabin 9). I highly recommend this location to get away.
