My Family and I visitied NYC between Christmas and New Years, booking 4 rooms and stayed 2 nights.
The hotel is very nice, looks recently updated. Has a very modern feel to it. Staff was very polite and helpful; gave easy direction to the closest Subway (only 3 blocks away) that took us to Time Square within minutes.
The Hotel is a nice walk away from the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges.
The rooms were spacious and clean, nice flat screen TV and comfortable king size bed.
We ate breakfast downstairs, which was OK. Nothing special. Although it was odd that they ran out of Bacon, Orange Juice and one or two other staples of Breakfast Menu items…
The bar on the top floor was not what i was hoping for what is considered a Business Hotel. You had to exit the hotel and come back in a separate entrance. The bar itself was nice with great views, comfortable seating for conversation... but the disco type music they had playing was at such a high volume it was hard to hear your companion even when screaming. For a midweek visit the music should have been softer and possibly Jazz like to promote conversation and changed to a Night club on the weekends.
Odd how my biggest complaint (wording wise) is against the bar and not the Hotel itself... so I guess I really did like the hotel!!
