“dont go there”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

stayed for one nght on our wat to Lake George. Went there because of coupon we got on freeway advertising this hotel as $49.95 per night and just minutes from casino. What a joke. wouldnt honor coupon, said motel was almost sold out. In the morning there were 4 cars in the PARKING LOT. At check in we were told there was a breakfast. Another joke. Also it is about 20 miles from the casino. There are at least 1/2 a dozen nicer hotels that are around the same price that are closer to the casinos. would never stay here again. We are budget travellers used to staying in budget hotels but hate dishonesty.

“only place in town”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

was not good for $89.00/night. certainly wouldn't stay for breakfast ug. certainly no upgrades or extras. even the towels were the cheap thin ones. the worst econo lodge I ever slept in. At least there were no bed bugs.

Room Tip: try somewhere else

We have stayed in rome a few times thought we would give it a try, we trust the choice hotel name. This Hotel had a" infestation: problem,, We decided to stay at the Quality Inn up the street from now on, we seem to not have issues there and its clean and alot more updated.

Room Tip: just dont stay here

“It was OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 June 2011

I was looking for safe, cheap, clean, and high speed internet. All four were important to me.

It satisfied all those requirements. It wasn't very fancy but I didn't expect fancy for the price. It had a little refrigerator and microwave. It was pretty centrally located.

My only complaint was hat it was suppose to be a non smoking room but smelled of smoke. To be fair I did not ask to be moved.

The staff was very nice and friendly.

I would stay again

“beware when asked to pay upfront not when checking out”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2010

My first clue should have been when i was asked to pay upfront instead of at check out time. very odd as i had secured the room with a credit card. well the room was dimly lit as one or more lamps didn't have light bulbs. you almost needed a seatbelt for the toilet as it was loose. there was an old vomit stain on the carpet. there was no alarm clock in the room, there was no breakfast offered and not even a cup of coffee to be had in the lobby. late into the evening we were disturbed by people next door engaging in sexual acts. we couldn't even drown out the noise with having the tv on the highest volume. let's talk bargain price....i don't think $88.00 a night is a great bargain. i have stayed at "no name "motels and had a better roo for alot less money. our room also lacked the extra security lock that most doors have. I didn't feel safe, didn't get much sleep because of the porn noises from next door which went most of the night. the clerk who checked us in was not friendly or accomodating. hardly any ammenities. only shampoo, no conditioner, no hair dryer. i wouldn't stay there again nor will i recommend this place to any one. i am thoroughly disgusted. i would have rated it a zero if i could have.
