I have read through some of the other less than stellar reviews on here, and I have to say that our experience was very positive. We walked in, had a seat and ordered a couple of beers (sapporo and ichiban, normal japanese beer). The service was quick and the waitress was very hospitable. I will preface all of this by saying that it was pretty dead when we were there, but still, we thought the service was good. The atmosphere is a little funky, but I had not issues with it. The gyoza was very tasty. We got it steamed, and I thought that the consistency was right and it was hot without burning my tongue off. The sushi was also very tasty. We got the philadelphia roll, and I cannot remember the other roll we got, but it was fried. And when I say fried, I mean that they fried the actual rolled sushi after they cut it. It also had cream cheese in it, and was kind of sweet so it was more like a dessert. We were quite pleased with this all the way around. Maybe they have read some of the reviews and made some needed changes?
