We where traveling with a pet, so we don't expect a five star but this hotel needs some improvements. The room we had was extremely small. 2 double beds, a bath that was extremely small. By the time we brought the pet, crate, and 2 adults we could not move with out growling at one another, someone had to sit on the bed for the other person to walk to the bathroom. We also experience planes, and choppers arriving a Hunter Air Field, very loud, got the dog crazy. The room was clean, and bed where comfortable. Keep going to the next La Quinta which is about 5 miles up the road, it might be better.

If you have stayed at multiple La Quintas, as you know not all are created equal. Because we travel a lot with our dogs, we have stayed at many and this is definitely one of the better ones. The room was very clean, the area very safe, and the other guests weren't creepy. Really, for this price range, what more can one ask for? If you're expecting it to be like a Hilton, Westin or 4 Seasons, then sure, this won't meet your expectations, but why would you expect Hilton-like accommodations at this price? It was more than adequate for a short stay and a good value.

Traveling south with our pet we found a hotel that was pet friendly....at no extra charge. The location was great--right off I95 exit. There are plenty of chain restaurants & gas stations nearby. As far as the accomodations, if you do not have a pet go somewhere else. They use so much bleach on the bedding you could become aphyxiated from the smell of clorox used in washing the linens. I'd advise you to bring your own pillow & blanket. The rooms were clean & the shower had hot water.

I was a bit concerned about staying here due to the other reviews on this website. We were going to be driving down to FL for Thanksgiving and just wanted a budget friendly, pet friendly place to spend the nite and so decided to reserve a room here anyway. We found a great deal for a last minute reservation and were pleased to learn there was no additional fee for having a pet. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice and our check in and check out were a breeze. Our room smelled clean and was clean and comfortable and adequate for what we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were clean. The breakfast was good, including a nice variety of items such as waffles, bagels, juices, coffee, pastries. We had a pleasant experience here and would definitely consider staying here again.
