I've stayed at this LQ a few times before, but only for a quick night's rest before I hit the road the next morning. This time I was here for 2 full days and nights. It took me 3 rooms before I was given one I liked--the first one was across from the pool's pump which was super loud. The second smelled like cat/dog urine. But the third was clean enough. I will say that the woman at the front desk was super nice and friendly, patiently helping me find a room that was good for me. She was also extremely nice at check out. The hotel is older, showing it's age, and the rooms are small. The breakfast looked pretty minimal. Parking is free and the location is convenient to I-95, tons of shopping and restaurants, and a straight shot down Abercorn to the historic district (20 minutes). The pool area is small but refreshing on a hot day. I was told that a lot of people actually live at the hotel full time, which isn't always the best thing, but I didn't find this to be a problem. I do wish they had a business center. The rates are very low, I paid about $85 including tax, for 2 nights. I probably would stay here again for a quick overnight because it was quiet, but it's not a place you want to spend too much time because it's old and there are probably 20 other hotel properties at exit 94 which are nicer and more modern.
