“Amazing!”

I have stayed at Hampton's before, but this hotel made me want to stay at ONLY Hampton Inns' in the future! We were only in Savannah for one night, but this was the most comfortable, clean, quiet and relaxing hotel room I've ever stayed in... and I do a lot of traveling. As soon as we opened the door we were hit with a wonderful smell and wind from the crisp AC! The bed was really comfortable... pretty firm which is usually not my preference, but it was amazing! I didn't wake up once during the night. The room was huge, it had a sitting area along with a mini kitchen and a big bed and nice, big bathroom. The quality is evident in all of the details from the faucets to the granite countertops. I was sad to only stay one night... I could stay here for a week and never leave the room! I will most definitely choose this hotel if ever visiting Savannah again.. I wouldn't even consider an alternative. It's close to the Historic District and easy to access from the highway. The price can NOT be beat for what you get!!

“Excellent”

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as we wanted to visit Savannah but not pay the higher prices found within the historict district. This hotel was very close to being perfect as it was only a short ride away from the historic district and the price was modest when we went in the summertime. The hotel is new, very clean, tasteful and the rooms where very spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our questions. There were many choices to choose from for breakfast and staff was always nearby to refill things plus there was lots of seating in the breakfast area even at peak times. Water pressure in the shower was good which is always an important thing for me when judging a hotel. My only complaint is that finding a parking spot can be tough when coming back late at night and parking spots are on the small side other than that I would reccomend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit the historic district and don't mind a short drive to get there.

“wonderful place to stay”

My husband and I were celebrating our 45th wedding aniversary in January 2012. I had looked up this hotel and it's reviews. They were all great so we went and had a wonderful time. The breakfast was great had hot scrambled eggs and turkey sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, hot oatmeal with lots of toppings, bread and bagels. Very healthy and good food. We loved the pool and hot tub---it was nice it is open till 11pm--the workout room was very nice and open till 12pm. The beds are very comfortable. The staff very helpful. You do need a car to get to the historic district and Tybee Island. Lots of stores and restuarants nearby. Very clean. Loved it. Thanks.

“Good value with reasonable proximity to the historic district”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

We stayed here two nights while visiting Savannah. Since it is not in the historic district, it is a little "off the beaten path." However, it is only about a ten-minute drive, fairly much a straight shot, to the historic area. In addition, its location makes it more reasonably-priced than hotels in the historic district. We can usually count on Hampton Inns to have a consistently high quality of cleanliness, service and food. This was no different. The only potential drawback is the distance of the hotel from most of the major highways. Thank goodness, we had a GPS to show us the way to find it. However, as we were enroute to Florida, it was several miles from I-95 to the hotel. It had good parking in a covered parking lot, which would probably be excellent in the warmer months to keep the car cool.

Room Tip: I was advised to use a room at the 5th floor or higher, which we did, to avoid any traffic or lobby...

“Fine hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

This two-year-old, high-rise (six floors) Hampton Inn is one of the finest I've seen. Top-notch representative of a usually reliable hotel chain. Not in the Historic District, but not far away either; 10 minutes by car. You can stay nearer the action, but you won't find a better hotel. Extra friendly: Marianna, desk clerk....and breakfast lady (didn't get her name)..
