This location is excellent. We stayed on the second floor with a private patio. The biggest problem was the hosts (owners?). They hardly spoke to us. When we checked in, all he told us was what we should NOT do (never go in the kitchen, don't use any of the plates or cups on the sideboard, etc). He made us feel like we were putting him out. When we came back from dinner about 8:30, all the lights were off except the hall, so we rooted around to find the light switch so we could make a cup of tea.
The room was cute, but a bit worn. The bed creaked everytime we moved, the tv was ancient (with a built in VCR, but no tapes), the sheets were scratchy, the toilet ran continuously unless you jiggled the handle, the towel rack was falling off the wall and the toiletries were really cheap. It feels like they have run out of money and are just waiting to sell the place.
When the room was cleaned after the first night, the housekeeper took some of the dirty towels and didn't replace them. But she did leave us the dirty wine glasses from the night before.
The good part - the views are wonderful.
We are really sad because the first time we stayed there, the original owners still had it and they were wonderful. It needs someone like that again.
