We had a beautiful king room facing the Pacific ocean. It was everything I had hoped for.
Not to stuffy, although very clean, comfortable, beautiful views right from our room and friendly and professional staff. Parking was just $10.00 extra a night compared to other hotels was a deal. They had a salt water aquarium in the loby which was one of the best I've ever seen.
O yes did I mention the comfy bed. There where good restaurants just around the corner. The beach was clean. I would love to visit again and will recommend it to my friends.

We took a chance by booking 2 nights at this hotel. We had never been to pacific beach. Ocean right outside our door. Clean hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Short walk to the pier for spectacular sunsets. Safe underground parking. Small extras like newspaper and fresh fruit throughout the day. Firehouse Grill next door was loud, but we just joined in the fun and had a blast.(we are seniors). We returned the next day for a delicious lunch-good prices, too.
We look forward to our next trip to the Ocean Park Inn.

Can't be much closer to the ocean, listening to the waves as you sleep. Price is right, clean rooms with great parking. Only real flaw, new carpeting is needed. When booking request the quiet side or next time we would preferably book the rooms right on the boardwalk, worth the extra money. Great location for a lot less cost.

Patrick was very friendly when we checked in. Went the extra for making our stay as great as possible.

Our family stayed here for 5 nights in January of 2012. This hotel is right on the waterfront. It includes: a heated pool and hot tub (nice to warm up in after playing in the ocean), a complimentary breakfast (you can eat in, on the patio or take it up to your room), has a laundry room (only 2 washers and two dryers with no folding table or area), has lots of under ground parking (for $10 per day), rooms that are spacious but a little dated, the bathrooms are a good size with both a bath tub and shower (a dry line is in the bath area to hang wet towels or swimsuits), but they're a little tired looking too, the front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly. I can't say enough about the front desk. There wasn't a question they didn't try to answer and they always had a smile on their faces and never once didn't ask how our stay was. We felt completely welcome! My only complaint was that we happened to be here on a night where there was a football game between San Diego and some where ?? and the college kids were a little loud when they came back to the hotel after watching the game at nearby bars. That said, if the room were a little more insulated it would have been a non issue because all 4 of our other nights were quiet. We'll be back to stay here on our trip back to San Diego next winter for sure!
