Stayed for just four nights during the summer... We could have stayed for ever! Cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. The rooms are excellent. Spacious, well furnished and extremely comfortable. The bathrooms are enormous, with walk in showers and huge baths. There are two pools, tennis courts and an amazing golf course, Tom Fazio designed. A divine spa as well.
The food was excellent and decent room service too. The hotel has a special restaurant in the grounds called Addison, in addition to the ones in the main building. Addison is certainly worth a visit during your stay. They have a seven course tasting menu with wine pairing as well as a soft drink pairing - wonderful fruit juices specially mixed for each of the different courses. The food was divine. We stayed in for hours.
The rooms were very reasonably priced. However, just one complaint, breakfasts were eye wateringly expensive. It was something ridiculous like $12 for a bread roll. I think one morning we were charged something absurd like $60 for a basket of bread, two coffees and two orange juices. In the event that a bed and breakfast deal is on offer, take it!
Room Tip: All the rooms are great. But if there's a bed and breakfast deal on offer, take it... A la cart...
