A good humored doorman and a very friendly and efficient check-in get things off to an excellent start. The attention to detail is everywhere evident in this venerable and stylish hotel. My huge room was tastefully although perhaps for some rather austerely furnished but everything is perfectly maintained. Well stocked mini-bar, decent coffee maker, top of the range hair-dryer, five huge fluffy towels and luxurious bath robes. I returned after dinner to find that my clothes had been carefully folded and stored by the maid. The bar is an extraordinary architectural feat and must be visited even if you are not a drinker. The waitresses are very friendly, the martinis huge, and the snacks imaginative. The breakfast in the Cafe in the morning is one of the best I have had in a hotel in the US. And all this comes at a very reasonable price given the quality, I paid USD190. This hotel provides a really excellent service in a formal setting while managing to remain friendly and relaxed. Highly recommended.

my wife and my brother are going in May to the Langham we will have been married 44 years
and we just know the hotel will be great as we all stayed in the Langham in Hong Kong
a couple of years ago and it was a fantastic experience .cant wait to get there.

We were celebrating our 40th wedding Anniv . The staff at the front desk went out of their way in making our stay a special night to remember . 1st they offered us a free They provided us with special touches of wine & strawberries along with turn down service with chocolates & 2 single roses waiting on our pillows when we returned from dinner . It was so very special & something we didn't expect , It made our night & stay at the Langham an unforgettable one !!! Thank you all . We will be definitely be sharing this royal treatment with others what a great place the Langham Hotel Boston is

I stayed at the Langham Boston for a business trip that I took to Boston and both the hotel and the location were perfect for my needs. The airport was a short cab ride away and since the hotel is in the Financial District the location was perfect for me. That being said, I did walk the Freedom Trail in the evening and it was very convenient to pick up from the hotel. Boston is a very small big city so nothing is too far away from this hotel.
As for the room itself; the standard room was a nice size and would have easily accommodated travel with my wife and son if they were with me on the trip. The bed was very comfortable and the water in the bathroom was great. The pressure was great and the water got hot very quickly which is all I need and unexpected especially with an older building.
The restaurant in the hotel (Café Fleuri) was a bit expensive but the food was really good (try the mac n’ cheese with lobster) and the bar (Bond) had a great ambiance, especially since it’s the old Federal Reserve.
Overall this is a great hotel and I look forward to my next business stay in Boston when I’ll be staying here again.
