Comfort by name and in reality. had a quiet night, and free buffet breakfast. not the best location for walking out to find somewhere to eat. might try to find something better if we ever visit gunnison again.

The front desk personnel should be a favorable reflection of the hotel. In this respect, they failed to impress! Registration was OK, but certainly not a "thank you for choosing us" reception. Each time we passed the desk, their heads were buried in either a book or hand-held device, while sitting on a stool. Their dress was unprofessional and their attitudes matched. The phone was not working in our room and when we reported it, someone replaced the phone with another one that was not working. All in all, a disappointing experience at this hotel. We travel frequently and are very tolerant of the occasional "off" night, but this hotel made a very unfavorable impression. It was the first time we stayed at a Comfort Inn and as a result of our experience, it was the last!

The hotel was a basic chain style place, but clean and the staff was friendly. Just a note of caution: the breakfast is very skimpy and the internet in the lobby is insanely slow!

This hotel is across the street from shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. It's also within walking distance of downtown. The hotel was clean and I enjoyed the free breakfast, pool, hot tub, and WiFi. The only downside is that smoking rooms are across the hall from nonsmoking. If you turn on the bathroom fan, it pulls smoke into the room. I stuffed towels along the door before showering and at night.
