When I arrived at the Floridian for my 2011 Christmas holiday, I was given a room that had no towels, no soap, etc. It wasn't even ready for guests. There was continuous smoking in the non-smoking rooms which seeped into my room continuously and made sleeping impossible (allergies). The internet was not working at least 60% of my weekly stay and when it was up it was way too slow to even use it. On the last two days of my stay there was no TV. The continental breakfast is half of what it was 5-10 years ago. Very limited food selection. The most frustrating thing was when you called to complain about the atmosphere there, the internet problems, etc., the front desk would either ignore their phone or never call you back when they said they would.

very nice staff however it is simply a place to crash for the night.

We stayed for five nights between Christmas and New Years 2011. On the first arrival we found the non-smoking room smokey and the smoke alarm chirping, which I had to remove the alarm after contacting the front desk. The room was clean, but the king size bed only had 3 little pillows. The bathroom only had two towels each day and had to get shampoo packets on one day. The bathtub leaked so the floor was all wet after a 10 min shower, I mean a 1/4 inch of water across the whole floor. The breakfast was sparse of food at 8 am during the 7-10am hours of operation. It would have been nice to enjoy the breakfast more but we needed to leave before 7 am.on three days. I would not recommend this hotel.

This hotel was close to where I wanted to go however was in pretty bad shape. Some of the door locks were missing, there were bugs on the floor and craweling our of the sink. The staff was not friendly.
