After a long day on the road and ready to relax and watch TV we found when we turned on the TV that the caption was on. Every word the characters were says was streaming accross the TV. We called down to the front desk to ask how we use our TV controller to turn it off and was told that we could not turn it off with our controller. We would have to use the master. I ask that they come up with the master and was told it was being used in a conference being held at the hotel and it would not be available until 10pm. The shower plate was loose and when I went to turn on the shower it almost cut me. The laundry dryer was so full of lint that a fire could have started at any time. There was no manager around to address the problems to.

I always remove the bed spread (just cause) when i pulled this one back to fold over and take off i saw a white crusty stain on the flip side of the spread..grossed me out..also the tv could have had a good picture but it was stretched to full screen you couldn't see the whole picture...the room was spacious and pretty clean...just makes you wonder if top sheets are changed every time new person comes in!

We stayed in this place for a night because it was just off I-10 (driving through.) The hotel resides in a semi-industrial area. The place didn't seem crowded probably because it had what looked like hurricane damage on the back end. The outer stucco was torn off. Still, the hotel looked like it was operating so we checked it out.

The inside of the hotel looks new with a shiny lobby and an indoor pool (which we did not use). All rooms open to inside hallways. It also has a business center and a weight room.

We were real happy with the room (towards the front of the hotel away from the damage) initially which was also clean and new. It had a larger bathroom, two queen beds, a sitting area with a sofa bed and a new HD LCD TV. The light fixture in the ceiling was not finished out, though (minor complaint.) My big problem was that the beds were too mushy (not enough support) which gave me a sore back. Because of that, I probably wouldn't stay more than one night.

The continental breakfast the next morning was decent with your standard cereals, waffles and basic fruits (bananas, apples.)
