In many ways this is a typical Hampton Inn although breakfast is a bit nicer thanks to Amy and they have an evening reception with hot food and beer on weekdays. Staff is pleasant and location is fine. Papadeaux's Restaurant is nearby and worth every penny. Big disappointment at this Hampton Inn is housekeeping and maintenance. Carpet was cleaned in the center of the room but the housekeeper didn't get close to the wall nor the corners. And next to the new AC unit was a junction box without cover that could easily electrocute a small child. That must be a code violation. All-in-all, this is a decent hotel especially given the hospitality but I've been to better Hampton Inns.

When I checked in and went to use the restroom, I found a feces stain on the rim of the toilet. I called the front desk, and they told me the cleaning staff was off for the day and they couldn't give me a different room, cause they didn't have any. I asked if they could send anyone to clean the bathroom, and the lady said there was no one available and said I could come down to get the cleaning supplies myself! Later I found what looked like a boot stain on the sheets, the outlet behind the bed didn't have a cover, and the ironing board was broken. Never staying in that hotel again!

We were very pleased with our stay at the Beaumont Hampton Inn.

During the week they have a hospitality hour with drinks and some food - very nice.

Rooms were comfortable and clean, staff friendly and helpful, quiet and pleasant. It was a nice stay as I come to expect from a Hampton Inn.

I had to drive through Beaumont, TX during a business trip in Aug 2007 so I decided to stay at this hotel. Check in was very quick and easy. I am very weary of hotels so before I take my bags out of the car, I go up to see the state of the room first. Everything was fresh and clean. No stains on the bedding. Sheets were crisp and white. Bathroom was very beautiful. Although I was hungry, I really didn't want to leave my room because I loved it but I decided to explore the area a bit.

The staff at the front desk was very helpful. I asked the clerk for directions to the local shopping mall and I was given very detailed instructions plus an area map just in case I got lost. I also thought that the entire area was very nice. On my return trip about 2 weeks later, I stayed at the same hotel and I had the same wonderful experience. The wireless internet worked great in both of my rooms.

The hotel was very quiet both day and night. I wasn't ever bothered by the noise of other guests. In fact, if I hadn't seen guests walking around in the halls and in the lobby, I would have thought I was the only guest there. Although it is extremely close to the highway, I didn't notice the noise.

I'm not a regular breakfast eater but when I stopped by to pick up something really quick before I checked out everything looked good and was kept well stocked.

For those worried about the one-way street, it is a minor incovenience at the most. Most, if not all, of the streets are like that in the area so it's not the fault of the hotel.
