We (me, my two sisters, and my mother and father) were en route to Chaco Canyon, but it got too dark to continue. So, we went into Aztec for the night. We checked in at Miss Gail's, and toured the available rooms. They were all well-furnished and gave a feel of home. It was great! There was no pool, but it was snowing anyway. My sisters and I stayed up until 2:30 AM, watching the snow and the TV (each room was equipped with TV, microwave, etc.), and generally having a great time.
In the morning, we got waffles and hot chocolate! We also got to see the proprieter's quilting machine, and met a full-blooded Native American medicine woman! My whole family immensely enjoyed the stay.
