Okay, so I didn't choose this place. Continental Airlines kept canceling flights to Guam and stuck us here as compensation. Maybe that has to do with what room was given to us, but here's my experience:
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was... decent, but quite over priced. Nice view of the golf course and Tinian.
Cons: Grounds were covered with trash and stray though friendly animals. The pool looks in such bad shape it may NEVER be used again. The room we stayed in was in bad shape as well. The carpet was stained, dirty and faded. The room has not been updated in nearly 30 years, by the look of it. There was a bedside table with flaking formica on it that we tried to move, only to find that all of the lights in the room were plugged into it with proprietary connectors, so if we moved it, all the lights would not work. The TV and Cable box are straight out of the 1980s. The water from the tap says its not potable, and it's a long walk to the lobby where you pay a horrific price for drinks. You're also many miles away from the main strip in Saipan so there's nothing to do if you're not golfing.
It was so bad, I tried to find AND PAY for another place at the last minute, but was unable to book anything. So there you go, I'd rather pay for someplace than visit this place for free again.
