Have stayed here on numerous occasions for business and pleasure - even years ago when it was a Park Hyatt property. I've never had a bad experience. Rooms are small, but well maintained and very quiet. Most rooms have a tangential view of the harbor, but generally look out onto office buildings. Upscale rooms and suites, however, can be delightful and spacious and a few have good views. The lobby is small and unexciting, although the breakfast area is nice and breakfasts are good. The best aspect of this hotel is location. It's a short walk to the California St. cable car, and only a few blocks to major attractions such as the ferry or Chinatown. Ask for a harbor view room on an upper floor.
