The Argonaut has a nautical theme. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, the bed comfy. We could hear the couple next door talking so I am thinking it could be a problem if you had late nighters next door. Every night at 5:00, they offer a wine tasting and on Saturday there was appetizers. We really enjoyed the opportunity to meet a lot of the travelers in the hotel over a glass of wine. The location is perfect; close to many restaurants and sites.

Fantastic hotel with a special feel, friendly staff and good services. I fell in love with San Francisco and hope to come back soon :o)

For the Bay area, its quite perfect and there are many bars around the hotel you can enjoy and north beach is 5 mins up the road for great italian food..

The hotel itself is a tad odd, with its marine feel not quite working and i think there would be other places to stay which would better, as this place was just a sleep in a good spot...

One shame was pier 39, what has happended to it? Tacky and cheap its become, fridge magnets, grab toys machines and tacky irish ( yes irish ) souvenirs for sale and lots of other totally irelevant shops/gifts...

what a shame they have sold the charm of this, once before, MUST VISIT attraction..

Fantastic hotel excellent location very friendly staff, rooms were moden warm and clean. This was the start of a 4 leg birthday holiday and what a start ..... I fell in love with San Francsisco what a city would say here again and would highly recommend this hotel......
