The Orchard was a great hotel for us. The location was simply awesome, the rooms were excellent and large on San Fran basis and the staff were excellent. When we return to San Fran we will stay at the Orchard. By the way we stay in room 904 on the ninth floor facing Bush Street and it was very peaceful. Highly recommended.

Friendly without being pretentious. Clean rooms. We had dinner once in the hotel. It was delicious. Great location. We were able to walk to China Town, Little Italy, Union Square, and a variety of different restaurants. And kudos to the staff for being so accommodating.

This was the first stop of a tour of California and a fantastic start it was. San Francisco is just amazing. The hotel is situated in a good location with a few bars near. China town is just down the road and Macy's was just a block away. We picked up a hop off/ hop on tour bus from near the hotel (a must!!!!).
There were 8 of us in our party which included 3x double 1 x single rooms.The staff are really friendly and although the hotel bar is quite expensive the staff are happy to advise on things to do and see. The rooms are quite big and furnished beautifully. The beds were especially comfortable - after a long flight they were just what was needed.
I think for the price of the hotel and what you got I would definatly stay again.
