Great motel that is very reasonably priced. Large rooms, very clean and just a little ways from town.

My wife and I drove from the beaches of NH all the way up to Bar Harbor. We stayed in 6 different motels during the trip. This was the least expensive place we stayed, and the comfort level was nearly the best out of all the places! We stayed in the highest building, had slight views of the ocean (not really worth the mention), and had a huge room. $55 per night?! Yes please.

We will stay there again next time we're in town. It's like a 2 minute drive to the main hub in Bar Harbor, and it's super easy to park in Bar Harbor in late September. I still can't get over the value of this place, no idea how they do it!

We have been staying at Edenbrook Motel for years and have always found it to be a great deal. The rooms are very clean, and include chairs outside for sitting as well as a table and chairs in the room. On our last stay, we tried the 4th building and found the room to be quite large, with a larger bathroom than usual, small refrigerator, and a balcony outside the room with a view of the bay through the trees. There were deer behind the building on a couple mornings.

While the beds aren't as luxurious as in some more expensive hotels, we find them quite comfortable. Again, the place is quite clean. And you will not beat the price in Bar Harbor.

Downtown Bar Harbor is about a mile and you can walk. There actually is a sidewalk on the other side of the street. You can also catch the free bus right at the motel entrance. And best of all, you can follow the street alongside the motel and be in Acadia National Park in less than 5 minutes.

I make my ratings in comparison to other motels, not in comparison to hotels or B&Bs. This was a very good basic motel, very clean, provided us with everything they advertised. Cheapest place in Bar Harbor area short of a campsite. The town is a 20 minute walk (no sidewalks), and a very easy drive down the street.

We were in building 4 on the second floor, up on a hill so we could see the water. Highly recommended to ask for one of these rooms - this building looked a little nicer than the others in general.

Our room looked like it had been rehabbed fairly recently - carpet and walls were very clean. We had a nice balcony to sit on and watch the water. Had a small refrigerator as well so to save money we bought a box of cereal and milk for our breakfasts, got to eat outside. A baby deer visited us each day, hanging out below waiting for his mom. Very nice setting.

If you're an exerciser, make sure to explore the College of the Atlantic across the street (rte 3) - beautiful grounds and a public flower garden hidden in the middle.

Only small complaint is that if others sit out on their balconies, you can't expect to leave your windows open and get any sleep - there is no barrier btwn the balconies. Lucky for us, no one smoked. But don't know how much the management could really do about that.
