We had our Lindsey Family Reunion this year, our family provided us with this beautiful place to stay. My three sister's and my two nieces stayed in the home. We arrived from Ohio and Pa. We had been up for 24 hrs.that day, once we arrived at Tina's Cottage we were able to sleep so soundly, for whatever reason, we all found ourselves wide awake by 3:30 am, so excited about being in such a beautiful home we stared up at the stars enjoyed the Kona coffee and tea, provided by Tina, we sat and relaxed on the lanai, ended up watching the sun rise at 5:30. Tina's home was a home away from home. Tina filled the home with a sense of comfort and love and it was felt by all of us. We hope to come back soon. Thank you again Tina!

This is an idyllic place to stay. It's in the city, with the quiet and privacy of the country. So clean, comfortable, and pretty, inside and out. We loved the private yard, lovely lanai, and gorgeous flowers and water garden. The cottage has every amenity, and is so organized and spotless---it was totally relaxing and peaceful. Tina is a wonderful hostess--helpful, but not obtrusive, and her cottage shows real pride of ownership. We recommend this place to anyone who wants a great home away from home--It's a good spot to use as a home base when you are visiting the north and central parts of the Big Island---we spent lots less time driving around when we were staying there, and got to really investigate the Kamuela and northern areas of the island. It wasn't that far to the beach (maybe 45 minutes?) and we found new spots to visit, swim and hike than we'd discovered in previous trips. Kamuela has fantastic restaurants, great shopping, and lovely cool evenings (the elevation was really refreshing!). This was a wonderful place to stay as our trip wound down, and we were rested and refreshed before the long trip, traveling back to Oregon. Our stay at Tina's really added to the quality and comfort of our trip--we are certainly going to stay there again!
