We stayed at El Rancho for 6 nights. The rooms were small, but clean, quiet and comfortable, with parking just outside our door. The staff was friendly with the exception of a night shift employee who didn't seem to thrilled to help with our parking issues. Vehicles were taking multiples spaces, leaving us to park around the corner on the street. It eventually was resolved. The location is excellent, a very short stroll to downtown Jackson, as well as a great jumping off point for trips into Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks. There was no refrigerator or microwave in our room, but for the price, and being an older motel, I guess it was to be expected. We just put our drinks in our car, as it was plenty cold outside. Overall we were more than satisfied with our accommodations. Being as quiet as it was, we were able to sleep nice and comfortably. We fell in love with the town of Jackson, and are planning a return trip next year, staying again at El Rancho Motel.

Stayed here for a couple of nights & I have to say there was nothing major to complain about. The motel has no front desk, but it uses the front desk of another hotel just around the corner & there were plenty of signs leading there. The motel is on a back street which is both quiet & safe & there were plenty of parking spaces. The room itself is of good size, with a double bed, closet, TV, coffee maker, sink, & heater. Everything in the room worked well, & the beds & sheets were clean & comfortable. The bathroom/shower was a bit small & the height of the shower is really low which is so uncomfortable for tall people like myself, but it was also spotless clean.
The front desk said that they servered breakfast, but it was only coffee & cupcakes, so it can't be considered as breakfast.
All in all, I was happy & satisfied with my stay at this motel & would definetly recommend it to other travelers.

We came to town in late August, which was a busy time in Jackson. Most places were full, so we ended up here. I didn't expect much from the outside appearance. Our room needed some updating, but was really clean. The beds were a bit soft, but were okay for my wife and I. Management was helpful in making suggestions on restaurants. Overall, we had a good stay and I wouldn't mind staying here again in the future.

Sometimes I wonder what people expect from a "cheap" motel.
We expect clean rooms/beds, and internet. And this motel was all that and more... We had room 121 (as far as I can remember) - LARGE, 2 beds, nice bathroom, internet working perfect, parking just outside the door. Quite. Just outside our room - table with 4 chairs. Close to town. Park your car - walk to town, just perfect.
Would stay here again, if we ever come back to Jackson Hole
