We stayed at the Wort Hotel many years ago and loved it and wanted to return. This time we encountered several snow storms and had to change our reservations and our travel plans at the last minute. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and worked with us and helped us redo our plans and reservations. The rooms were comfortable,clean and provided with nice amenities. We especially enjoyed the wine tasting on Thursday night and having a chance to meet the general manager, Jim Waldrop, and some of his staff. He assured us he and his staff would do whatever was possible to help us out. We also enjoyed the art work,the old pictures and learning the history of the Wort Hotel. We hope to return there this summer.

The Wort Hotel offers the most beautiful and comfortable rooms with great amenities We return each year and love the suites as well as regular rooms. The staff is so warm and welcoming it feels like home. The Hotel is well staff with qualified personnel and offers great hospitality opportunities. The food is scrumptious and the new chef is amazing with his wide array of selections. We look forward to our trip each and every year..

This hotel is very nice. Room was nicely appointed. I agree with other reviewer about the noise. Ask for a room away from the main street or you will hear all the late night partyers. Beds are very firm. All in all I would definitely stay here again at the rate I paid $139. It was a great deal for a very nice hotel.

Wort is great at taking your money but do not ask them for any favors. Got snowed in and the Wort raised their rates, other hotels and resorts worked with us on a distress rate because the airport closed. Now that we are staying at another resort, the Wort is a nice hotel but there are better deals to be found. I will no longer stay at that hotel.
