I was leery of what we would encounter here, but we were quite pleased. Our room was in the suites building, set back a bit from the main road, though it was not exactly what i would call a suite. There is a half wall separating the bedroom portion from the living room area that comes with a couch, coffee table and fireplace.

The mattresses were comfortable pillow-top. We had a room with 2 queens. Also had a flat screen tv and desk. There was a little kitchenette area with refrigerator, microwave, & coffee maker. Multiple wardrobes for storing your clothing; this is probably helpful if you are here for multiple days and want to unpack. We did hear some noise from the room above ours, but it subsided shortly and didn't interfere with our sleep. It would have been a different story if the guests above had been a raucous bunch!

The hotel is convenient to a number of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast on site was pretty straightforward continental with a wide selection of hot and cold beverages. Hot meal items included scrambled eggs and sausage.

We're returning at the end of our trip, so will have a chance to compare experiences.

We stayed here after booking a package including flight, lift ticket, and lodging through Jackson Hole mountain. We were so happy with our stay at the 49er. The staff was wonderful, the transporation to and from the hotel was perfect as was the shuttle to the mountain. We decided to skip and lines or seat fighting with anyone and took the city bus for $3 across the street in the morning but took the free shuttle to the hotel home after riding. Breakfast was excellent for a continential breakfast (they could however use another toaster or two). The large indoor hot tub was perfect for that needed break after riding. THe staff was great with updating the board daily with the weather report, avalanche conditions, etc. The 49er was located close to everything so we walked everywhere, be careful though most side walks are sheets of ice. Housekeeping was great. We are already planning out trip there next year that will include a stay at the 49er.

*Note there is no elevator so we did hear some older people whine about having to carry their skis/boards upstairs, so if that is an issue for you, ask for a downstairs room.

We stayed here on a ski trip. It is close to downtown, close to bus stops and easy to access from airport etc: Continental Breakfast was adequate; rooms comfy. We asked for a couple of hours late checkout and they accomodated that. People working there were friendly and helpful.

This place is great; a great value for sure. The location is perfect – right in the center of things and walking distance to a lot of places to eat and drink. It's also real easy to find off the main road.

For a Quality Inn, the decor and design of the place was pretty nice. We had rooms on the 2nd floor and there's a nice outdoor walkway/balcony leading to all the rooms. The lobby felt cozy and the person at the desk was friendly and attentive. The hot tub is huge; felt more like a small swimming pool. But it's nice to have had that.

The rooms are good; nothing special but very comfortable and had a nice solid stay there.
