I will admit, I was hesitant to book this resort for a one-day midweek stay because of some of the less-than-stellar reviews on this site. However, we were more than impressed with the room we received. The king-sized bed was extremely comfortable and the Jacuzzi tub worked perfectly. We did have a private patio with chairs to sit on, although it did face the parking lot and not the lake. We loved the direct access to the beach and Lake Delton, and the entire grounds were very clean and tidy! A few silly things that made this not a five star stay -- we didn't have a shower curtain in our room. We were unsure if this was normal or just overlooked. We were told that they were short-staffed and the manager was going around cleaning rooms, so perhaps it was just a simple oversight. We were supplied with plenty of towels between the bathroom and Jacuzzi, so we just laid those on the bathroom floor and all was well. And, one last silly detail, the "champagne" that comes with the jacuzzi suite is actually sparkling grape juice -- a little disappointing but not the end of the world. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Dells area -- and I plan on returning.More
