Our family was very happy with this resort; we stayed for four nights and had two separate rooms/suites to accomodate all of us. The kids and grandkids stayed in the M unit and although it was smaller than they thought it was going to be it worked well for them. The parents stayed in an A unit and the only problem we had was an entirely worn out and uncomfortable hide-a- bed mattress which was quickly changed up for a new one after the first night. The kids loved the indoor pool and the splash pad, the beach play area and the lake. The bonfire and music was nice--our nephew got to join in with his guitar. Plenty of grills and picnic tables, opportunities for snacks and convenient to all the attractions. Great walking/biking path across the street. Great place to stay!

Baker's Sunset Bay was perfect for our family reunion of about 75 people or so. They have many extra amenities for things to do with all the kids and adults, pools (3), kayaks, canoes, and a boat (which I never saw docked) all on Lake Delton. This resort does not have a water park, but I did notice some (like Mt. Olympus) was running specials on their board.
Sunset Bay does have free tickets (one per person per stay) for the Kalahari indoor amusement park (not the water parks). We had a lot of fun there. Lots of things to do for kids. The price at this resort was great compared to the other big waterpark resorts, which we would have never seen much of each other since those are so big. The rooms are nice, with a balcony or patio. Most of them have been remodeled. Ours was not, but was very clean and roomy with mini fridge and microwave. I also noticed that this resort must have been built very well as we never heard people next to us or above us. The new buildings' rooms were VERY nice, roomy, and modern with full kitchen, fireplace, and with an option to expand to another unit. The banquet room was perfect for our "reunion" day as a place to come and go, to grab snacks, drinks, or just get together and chat. There is no restaurant on facility, but there is a quick serve place open there just a few hours in the afternoon. Being the resort is not far from the downtown Dells area, there are lots of options to eat and shop in the downtown area. We had a wonderful time and would consider coming back in the future.

Room tip: Ask for a remodeled room (even though the older ones are very clean) and see if you can get a lake room.

Had another great time at this resort. Called at the last minute for a room, and luckily they were able to accommodate us with a room with a balcony for five nights. We (me, mom, 10 yr old niece & dog) continue to be happy with the accommodations and service at this resort. With this stay we found out that the inside pool and spa is saline (goodbye chlorine smell) and that the outside pool has extended hours. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the grounds are extremely well kept. We always feel safe here as the resort is patrolled by security throughout the night. Have already booked a return trip for fall festival in the Dells!

The resort and grounds area are really nice. They have 2 nice pools and a nice children's outdoor splash area also. We booked a 2 queen suite room. These rooms are really small as the one bed is right next to the air conditioner unit and the air blows on you all night so my wife froze all night. You can not walk between the bed and air conditioner it is that close. The housekeeping seems to be lacking they never ran the vacuum in the halls or our room for our 2 night stay. There were many leaves in the halls. The bath mat was taken when our beds were made up after the first night so the second day we put a towel on the floor. The tub drain didn't work so you would stand in water while in the shower and they need new outlets as a cell phone charger would not stay plugged in. The pillows are really small but we asked for 2 more and no problems there. The free tickets to the kalahari indoor theme area were really nice. This is a really nice resort with friendly workers. It's the little things that count.

LOVED this hotel. The beach was great and my son and I couldn't get enough of tether ball. Plenty of grills and tables outide for sitting at and enjoying the view of Lake Delton. The pools were small but fun for kids. However the cleaning staff need to be more thorough with the rooms. We will be back though, it was a nice change from the big hotels.

Room tip: Ask for a room overlooking Lake Delton they might upgrade u for free.
