This Microtel was a good place to stay for a night. The rooms are small as are all Microtels so it is not good if you have a lot of baggage, but if only one bag it is fine. The room was very quiet and the bed good. The whole motel was very clean. Would stay again when in the area.

The room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ok although a bit heavy on the waffle makers. The back entrance door had a badly damaged lock (inoperable) so it was open to anyone overnight. The room door lacked a security chain though the holes were there for one. Front desk told me there were no chains on any of the doors. Tomah is probably a very safe area, but I would rather have the hotel take a more pro-active security role!

We had reservations at another motel but got tired and stop at this Microtel to compare the price. Matt, one of the owner family members discounted a room for us bringing it very close to the price we would have paid if we continued on to the other motel. I went out to the 24 hour Walmart a few blocks away to pick up a few things and saw a watermelon I couldn't resist. When I came walking in with it back at the motel, Matt offered to get a knife and help me slice it up. We then shared some melon and chatted before I went back to the room. He gave me a bowl for the leftovers so I could put it in our room refrigerator and enjoy the rest with free breakfast they offered in the morning. Most comfortable bed ever! A great place!

Very pleasant vacation week during first week in June. Staff was helpful with comments about day trips in the area. Service was friendly and prompt. Room was very clean and fragrant. Two desktop computers off the lobby were very functional. Breakfast was tasty and diverse. Room on first floor north was very quiet.
