the service and food,rooms are super,the owner is Carl along with dog Zak.the Inn is very pretty,nice,clean, quiet.his food is the best We have had in a long time,ever better than grandma's best,he talks with us at the meals,and even in between,when he sees us come and go.

Spent Saturday night at the 19th century Naeset-Roe Inn in Stoughton, WI and was very delighted with our stay. Innkeepers Carl & Zak (joyous Sheltie) were the most charming of hosts and the room and bed were comfy, clean, and well furnished. The Inn is a mere block and a half from the charming downtown area and all the restaurants, shops, and architectural sites. In the morning breakfast was spectacular as Carl prepared and served us such a lovely, delicious, well considered meal that Jane and I scarcely had room for another bite the rest of the day. Stoughton WI is close to Madison (20 min) and many of the loveliest little hamlets and lakes in all southern Wisconsin. Great location, lovely stay, congenial hosts, what more can a visitor ask from a B & B?

We had the most amazing breakfast at Naeset-Roe Inn!!! You will not leave hungry and you may as well cut back on lunch since you will probably not have room left for it anyway. I don't think you will find a better or more satisfying breakfast.

We needed a getaway weekend and found it here. The Inn is very comfortable and, as frequent guests at Bed & Breakfasts, we can say that this is a very good one and you won't be disappointed. The primary need when I travel is a good bed and sleep - the Inn excels on these. The room was comfortably appointed and was cozy.

Carl will go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and his recommendations are outstanding. We were very satisfied.

We had the room with attached sunporch, which gave us plenty of space AND a wonderful place to sleep. Extra treat--a big midwest gullywasher of a thunderstorm on our last night.

Carl is especially kind & skilled at modifying food to accommodate those with special needs.
