We decided to sit in the bar for a while before getting a table, and everyone from the staff to the customers was very friendly.
The parking lot and lot across the street were hugely full, but there was no wait since the majority of the people were in the banquet room, so don't let the parking turn you away.
The food and beer prices were great compared to what we are used to at German restaurants in larger cities.
Our meals included soup, salad bar, bread, entree and side. We both selected German dishes and everything was very good, including our server.
At first we were disappointed to find that the desserts that night were made in Chicago, the one we had (some sort of chocolate mousse cake), was great.
