My review not dissimilar from others. Lot was empty and I was the only patron, I think. I don't know why the rates are $55/night including tax or more when the alternative is to heat an empty room, but I don't pretend to know hotel business. Booked via priceline, but was told better rates often exist if you call or stop in, which is different than most. Hotel is clean. Room was immaculate. My bed was really soft, which I like. The big disappointment was that the hot tub is closed. This is the second amenity in Phillips that I have found closed due to city upgrade regulations (the other was the shower/laundry combo in town which was SUPER convenient). The other irritation, minor during my stay but potentially major depending on timing, were the chainsaws with skis (aka snowmobiles) that run a course near the hotel. If you're not in town to sled, this would be TOTALLY disruptive to sleep.
Overall, the hotel was clean, priced ok, but not super-competitively to others in area (although this would be true if hot tub was available), and rooms looked great.
