Just returned from one night at the Grand Motel in Pembine while doing the waterfall tour of the area. The room was not fancy but it was clean, spacious and comfortable with a good value price. Room #7 we were in did not have a refrigerator but they do have kitchenette rooms which have more amenities for food preparation. The owner was very nice too. I believe there was internet access but we did not use it. Our rating is not that it is a 4 star motel but that for the price point and what is available in the area we give it 4 stars. We would definitely stay there again if passing through the area or going to enjoy a few days in the northeast Wisconsin outdoors.

My wife and I spent a Saturday night there while visiting friends nearby. While its nothing special, we would definitely recommend it as a nice, reasonably-priced place to sleep for a night.

The owners were very friendly. And as an added plus they welcome dogs (with a small extra charge).

If you're looking for a holiday resort, this is not it. But if you want a friendly reception, quiet comfortable night with clean sheets and towels, and a clean hot shower in the morning - all at the low price - this motel fits the description.

I have been staying at the Grand Motel for years. It's 1/2 way between the Twin Cities and our family cottage in MI. It has always been clean, inexpensive and quiet. The owners are very friendly and accomodating.
