when staying overnight in a hotel in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, STAY HERE! Very clean, cozy and comfortable lodge. Rooms were well-appointed and QUIET. Complimentary breakfast had great coffee, fresh fruit and homemade waffles, among other things. Very reasonable rates, decent spa and pool. Loved the dry sauna and pretty patio with plenty of tables, chairs, lounges and flowers. We stayed at 3 different hotels in Ladysmith in 3 nights, and this AmericInn is hands-down the best place to stay in town. We'll be returning - friendly and informative staff makes it worth the return trip!

Stayed two nights for a local family reunion. This hotel is clean and has a great pool/hot tub & outdoor patio. There also is a small conference room (12 chairs) which we used to play cards until 3 a.m.

We surprised our three kids; ages 7,6,5; with an early Easter get-away to a hotel with a pool. This hotel is GREAT! Everyone was friendly; the place was very clean and well kept, (and decorated very cute for Easter); the breakfast was wonderful, and the area kept immaculate; and the kids had a great time in the two pools and HUGE whirlpool. My husband also very much enjoyed the sauna. The kids also got a kick out of the balcony in our room, too bad it wasn't warmer so we could have sat out there and on the huge deck outside of the pool- next time, because we will be going back :)

I've stayed at the Lodge on several occasions and found the rooms to be very comfortable and extremely clean. Staff was very friendly and professional and made me feel as if I were at home. I've never seen such clean rooms, and I've stayed in many. Really enjoyed the the lodge feel and the grea decorations. Breakfast was great, I had hot fresh waffle and biscuits and gravy. They also had cereal,danish,bagels and a great cup of coffee. didn't get to swim but pool area looked extremey clean and inviting. Highly recommend this place.
