“A hidden gem”

I have been coming here for a few years when in the area and have never been disappointed. Actually, I lied. I go out of my way to come here if I'm even within 50 miles. Time to give this place the props it deserves even though the Friday night fish fry seems to have made a name for itself already.

Very friendly and relaxing bar to watch a game or meet with friends. Heck, I've made a few new ones. Killed some time here on several occasions.

In the mood for a great meal? Get a table in the quaint and cozy dining room. I'm on the road a few days a week and eat out often. The steaks here can compete with a Chicago steakhouse at half the price. Go big and get the Cowboy steak. You will not regret it.

Always a good seafood special and exceptional homemade soups. Recently I had the best piece of pan fried grouper (lemon cream sauce) of my life. Even though I lived in Florida for several years. Nearly an inch thick and cooked through to perfection.

I live in Atlanta now but this place is a must stop when I make it to Wisconsin. Summer has always been a great time to dine out on the deck. I've heard they were converting it in to a covered four seasons deck to accommodate more people for Friday fish frys and smokers during the chilly months. (no smoking inside anymore, state law) Can't wait for my next trip to Ghost Town so I can check it out!

“Interesting Place”

Saw some of the other reviews and decided to give it a try. Friday night so was expecting a wait. In about 6 min we were seated. Waitress was quickly ready to take our drink order. Menu did not have a lot of choices but one of us selected the fish fry and the other got the steak sandwich. Other tables are commenting on how much they enjoyed their food. Our food came out very quickly. We would say that the food quantity was high, quality was average and cost was average.

The atmosphere is not quiet and romantic. More WI bar/supper club.

Skip the joint accross street and go to Juice's. There fish fry's are one of the best in the area. And for that matter the rest of the menu is just as good.

“Best meal we've had in a long time.”

While on our way home from Milwaukee my husband and I were going to eat at a chain restaurant when we saw this place and decided to give it a try - and are we glad we did! The special that night was a very tender Tenderloin roll with asparagus, swiss and portabello mushrooms with a mushroom gravy (with large fresh mushrooms) - it was exceptional! I had the Hazelnut pork chops, which I haven't been able to find for a couple of years since the restaurant that used to have them here closed - I was not disappointed. Even the potatoes are worth bragging about. I saw another diner eating the Tilapia - which was my first choice before I changed to the chops. With a glass of wine each our tab was only $42 - which is not pricey as others have stated. We thought the prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants around Sheboygan County (where we live). Everyone was friendly and our waitress was very attentive. Would highly recommend stopping. A couple at the next table told us they have never had a bad meal there - and I believe them.

We were just passing through town on our way to Door County. We stayed at the new Hampton Inn down the street (very nice). We ate at the "Ghost Town". It was really a fun place to go! The people we very friendly and accommodating. We found the food to be very good. The place had a nice "homey" feel.
