I have been coming here for a few years when in the area and have never been disappointed. Actually, I lied. I go out of my way to come here if I'm even within 50 miles. Time to give this place the props it deserves even though the Friday night fish fry seems to have made a name for itself already.
Very friendly and relaxing bar to watch a game or meet with friends. Heck, I've made a few new ones. Killed some time here on several occasions.
In the mood for a great meal? Get a table in the quaint and cozy dining room. I'm on the road a few days a week and eat out often. The steaks here can compete with a Chicago steakhouse at half the price. Go big and get the Cowboy steak. You will not regret it.
Always a good seafood special and exceptional homemade soups. Recently I had the best piece of pan fried grouper (lemon cream sauce) of my life. Even though I lived in Florida for several years. Nearly an inch thick and cooked through to perfection.
I live in Atlanta now but this place is a must stop when I make it to Wisconsin. Summer has always been a great time to dine out on the deck. I've heard they were converting it in to a covered four seasons deck to accommodate more people for Friday fish frys and smokers during the chilly months. (no smoking inside anymore, state law) Can't wait for my next trip to Ghost Town so I can check it out!
